MELVILLE, N.Y. (Dec. 9, 2009) - Nikon Inc. today announced two new NIKKOR optics that deliver the pinnacle of image quality for professional photographers who demand super telephoto capabilities.

Nikon released an updated Nikon D3s to replaces its D3, the famous Nikon full frame with outstanding ISO performance. The new Nikon D3s is capable of shooting at the ISO setting of 102400, a few more stops better than the D3. Here is a ISO comparison between Nikon D3 and Nikon D3s with 100% cropped sample for your reference.

ISO samples below ranges from ISO100 to ISO102400 accompanied with 100% cropped sample. Autofocus was set to centre point and noise reduction is set to standard mode. Lens used was AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm F2.8 G ED for both Nikon D3 and D3s. ISO51200 and ISO102400 is only available on Nikon D3s. All shots were taken using Program mode with auto white balance at focal length of 70mm.
