Read this from PhotographyPress. Think that the megapixel rush is getting out of control? Well get prepared for a whole lot more. Sharp has launched a 1/4-inch-optical-sized CMOS camera module, the "LZ0P39DS," which has an output resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels (It is suppose to be 16000 x 12000) or 200 megapixel pixels and features automatic focus. The module, which will be small enough to fit into a regular compact camera is also compliant with UXGA video at 15 fps. The sample is priced at 5,000 yen.
