So Canon is coming up with Canon 40D or Canon is just fooling around the internet users, especially professional photographers and photo enthusiasts? Most probably they are going announce it soon if not March 2007, few sites are actually featuring this rumor. So what will the Canon 40D be like?

I’d say that it will come with at least 10MP or maybe a 12MP DIGIC III CMOS sensor, anti-dust technology, 3 inch LCD, an in-built HDR feature. Hopefully the battery is same as 20D and 30D so that users can swap batteries. None of us can confirm it until Canon releases their press release.
