Holochip's liquid lenses promise better lenses and even thinner gadgets The lens focus by changing shape under pressure from moving parts around their circumference. This allows manufacturers to either create an array of lenses to give a longer focal length or ultra-thin units for even smaller gadgets. Holochip's liquid lenses is able to operate at the temperature of -20 to +60C. It will be commercially available in Asia and US in a few years.
