First, the internet is full of rumors in regards of Canon’s 40D dSLR , which still remain as rumor until today. Now, Canon announces the 10.1 megapixel EOS-1D Mark III digital SLR. With dual Digic III processor and a stunning 10 frame per second shooting experience enabling user to shoot 110 JPEG images before the buffer fills up. Not to mention, the 14-bit image processing to the EOS series for the first time.

First in a professional camera body is the LCD Live Preview which was first seen on Olympus’s E330 dSLR. Now, underwater photography can be better with Canon 1D Mark III. ISO rating of up to 6400 is impressive and would surely be an advantage for low light photography. Canon has always been very good in managing noise produced by their sensor, no doubt about that.
