Few days after the launching of Sony Alpha DSLR-A200, there was rumour suggesting that Sony is coming out with another DSLR to strengthen their DSLR market. At sonyalpha.info, it was codenamed as Sony Live-View as there is no official naming being announced.
If you are like me, thinking that it is impossible for Sony to keep quiet during PMA 2008, you may like the following print screen. A visit to Sony Taiwan support download section shown that there Sony DSLR-A300 and DSLR-A350 is listed among the other Sony DSLRs. I am expecting this to be announced in a few days or else during PMA 2008 next week.
There are numerous speculation about the new Sony Alpha, but none of which is confirmed. I think that it shall at least have a Live-View with swivel LCD, printable ISO 1600 photos and also at least a 10.2 Megapixel sensor. I personally don’t really care about how high the ISO figure can go, as long as at this moment, I shall be satisfy with printable ISO 1600 as this is what I need now.
Judging from the model number, it doesn’t seem to be a higher end model than the DSLRA-700, but then who knows. How about full frame? Honestly, if you ask me, I don’t think so. Talking about full frame reminds of the full frame telephotos lenses that were seen a while ago- Sony/Alpha Full Frame Lenses: 300mm f/4 and 600mm f/4 or200mm f/2.8? (Photo). Are these lenses going to be announced too? PMA 2008, Sony is here to show off some great stuff, I am sure. Do stay tune for more Sony Alpha DSLR news here. Do send me some info if you have!
