Digital Camera / dSLR guide

Jennifer Dudley-Niholson talks about the best and worst tech of 2007. The author mentioned about the Digital SLRs arena and have the follow thoughts:

“Digital cameras are hardly new but digital SLR cameras have never been so advanced or so prevalent as in 2007.

Digital single-lens reflex cameras give photographers more control over the images they capture, allowing them to manipulate colors, alter light sensitivity and focus and change camera lenses.

But this year, amateur-level DSLRs also let you use their LCD screens as viewfinders, take 12-megapixel photos and use optical image stabilization to keep your photos free of blur.

Furthermore Canon's 40D ($1999) can capture six photos a second, Nikon's D300 lets you boost light sensitivity to 6400 ISO, Sony's Alpha 700 starts focusing when it senses your eye near the viewfinder and Olympus's new E-3 DSLR has an LCD screen that flips out, letting you take photos from different angles. ”

If you are thinking of getting yourself a late Christmas gift, consider the above digital SLRs, if size does not matter.

Merry belated Christmas from masterchong.com.
